• Location: The insurgent group is presently considered to be active along the India-Myanmar International Border.

• Cadre Size:  Approximately 300 cadres

• Strength: The group is considered to be actively recruiting taking advantage of ongoing ethnic tension in Manipur

• Weakness: The ongoing civil war situation in Myanmar poses serious threat to the camps of this group

• Opportunities: Recently signed peace agreement with UNLF(P) and NRFM alias United Revolutionary Front (URF) demoralises UNLF cadres

• Threats: Extortion activities, drug trafficking, arms trafficking
