DIRECTOR, SPECIAL UNIT FOR NORTH EASTERN AFFAIRS, BORDER MANAGEMENT DIVISION (CISA) CALLS UPON THE HON'BLE GOVERNOR OF TRIPURA 

Shri Om Prakash Tewari, Director, Special Unit for North Eastern Affairs under the Border Management Division of Centre for Internal Security Analysis (CISA), called upon the Hon'ble Governor of Tripura, Shri Shri Indrasena Reddy Nallu, at Agartala on 24th January, 2025. During the meeting, the Director briefed the Hon'ble Governor on the ongoing initiatives of the organisation for the state of Tripura as well as towards better managing the India-Bangladesh Border. Emphasis was placed on the strategic importance of the region in terms of border management and security coordination as well as emerging security situation in Tripura and the surrounding areas. The Director also outlined the ongoing initiatives to recommend policy measures towards enhancing border trade, strengthening border security and promote peace and stability in the region. The Hon'ble Governor expressed his appreciation for the proactive role of the CISA in enhancing the internal security policy and its contribution towards effective border management and promoting peace and stability in the region.

श्री ओम प्रकाश तिवारी, निदेशक, विशेष इकाई - उत्तर-पूर्व, सीमा प्रबंधन विभाग, आंतरिक सुरक्षा विश्लेषण केंद्र (CISA) ने 24 जनवरी 2025 को अगरतला में त्रिपुरा के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री इन्द्रसेना रेड्डी नल्लू से मुलाकात की।

बैठक के दौरान, निदेशक ने माननीय राज्यपाल को त्रिपुरा राज्य के लिए संगठन की चल रही पहलों और भारत-बांग्लादेश सीमा के बेहतर प्रबंधन के लिए किए जा रहे प्रयासों के बारे में जानकारी दी। इस अवसर पर, निदेशक ने सीमा प्रबंधन और सुरक्षा समन्वय के संदर्भ में क्षेत्र की रणनीतिक महत्वता पर बल दिया और त्रिपुरा तथा आसपास के क्षेत्रों में उभरती सुरक्षा स्थिति पर भी चर्चा की। निदेशक ने सीमा व्यापार को बढ़ावा देने, सीमा सुरक्षा को सुदृढ़ करने और क्षेत्र में शांति तथा स्थिरता को बढ़ावा देने के लिए नीति उपायों की चल रही पहलों का भी उल्लेख किया। माननीय राज्यपाल ने श्री ओम प्रकाश तिवारी तथा CISA की आंतरिक सुरक्षा नीति को सुदृढ़ करने, प्रभावी सीमा प्रबंधन में योगदान देने और क्षेत्र में शांति एवं स्थिरता को बढ़ावा देने के लिए किए गए सक्रिय प्रयासों की सराहना की।
