Mission

The Center for Internal Security Analysis (CISA) is a non-partisan, independent body dedicated to conduct focused and targeted research and policy relevant studies on all aspects of internal security. CISA is proud to operate as a specialised centre of exellence and subsidiary under the umbrella of TEWAG, a globally renowned consulting firm with a multi-continental presence. At CISA, our mission is to promote internal security through the generation and dissemination of knowledge on internal security related issues.

Mandate

The center seeks to lead and aid policy thinking towards building a strong and prosperous India through a strong internal security policy and strategy. It sees India as a country poised to play a leading role in the knowledge age — a role in which it shall be increasingly called upon to proactively ideate in order to shape global conversations, even as it sets course along its own trajectory of long-term sustainable growth.

It helps discover and inform India’s choices. It carries Indian voices and ideas to forums shaping global debates. It provides non-partisan, independent, well-researched analyses and inputs to diverse decision-makers in governments, business communities, and academia and to civil society around the world.

Research

The center has a well-qualified multi-disciplinary research faculty drawn from academia, police services, defence services, and the civil services representing a diversity of views. Research at the Institute is driven by a comprehensive agenda and by the need to provide impartial analyses and policy recommendations. The center's journals, monographs, briefs, and books are the principal mediums through which these analyses and policy recommendations are disseminated. In addition, the news media also carry the views of the institute's experts in the form of op-eds, interviews and participation in debates.
